Award-Winning Paper

The 2023 IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence Outstanding Paper Award went to:

Yongliang Chen, Jinghui Zhong, Liang Feng, Jun Zhang. An Adaptive Archive-Based Evolutionary Framework for Many-Task Optimization. IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, 4(3): 369–384, 2020.

The paper proposes an adaptive archive-based framework that transfers knowledge among many optimization tasks.

International Competitions

The group has won four international competition championships. They include competitions held at the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI) and the ACM Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO).

Academic Recognition

Prof. Jinghui Zhong is included in the Stanford list of the world’s top 2% of scientists.
